DCOG-OS runs on your device. Your personal data never leaves it; your memory is encrypted with your hardware keys.
• The software is provided “as is”. • You are responsible for the content you create and how you use it. • Illegal or harmful use is prohibited.
• Your chats and files stay local and encrypted. • No telemetry or tracking. • In the optional collective network, only model compute is shared — never your personal data.
Where Dudu keeps your files. You can change it anytime.
These models are huge (hundreds of GB). No one runs them alone. Instead, everyone holds a small piece and the swarm runs them together — answers come from the collective.
To take part, your device shares, only while DCOG-OS is open:
• ~2 GB memory (RAM/VRAM) — to compute your slice of the model.
• A little disk — to keep your shards (~500 MB each, downloaded once).
Honest note: a single shard isn’t a usable model on its own — it only works in the swarm, and the distributed engine is still being proven. You can leave anytime.
